HORNINGTON MANOR - A SUSTAINABLE APPROACH
Set in 300 acres of picturesque North Yorkshire, the Harrison Farm is grade II listed with a unique heritage. Situated only 18 miles from the factory, the Harrison farm provides the perfect environment to help reduce their carbon footprint and grow their own natural bed fillings.
Here, they tend to their own flock of sheep and alpacas - the source of Yorkshire Dales Eco Wool and alpaca fleece found inside their beds. Flax and hemp crops are also grown on the land to be later layered into their sumptuous mattresses.
This sustainable approach guarantees a blend of upholstery that is 100% natural and ensures exceptional breathability and temperature control.
OUR BEDS ARE HOME-GROWN
Our Dales Collection doesn't start its life in a factory but on Harrison Spinks' 300-acre farm in North Yorkshire. Here, they rear sheep on rich untreated pastures and tend to fertile fields of hemp and flax.

SUSTAINABLE NATURAL FILLINGS
The raw fibres are blended into soft and sumptuous filling pads at our factory in Leeds. Both natural and sustainable fibres are used to create different combinations of filling pads.
COTTON
Egyptian cotton is softer and longer in length than regular cotton, with its super-fine strands keeping you cool and dry.
HORSETAIL
Acts as both a spring and a comfort layer. It is open-celled and 'hollow', making it the perfect wicking material to dissipate the moisture accumulated during the sleep process.
YORKSHIRE WOOL
Naturally hypo-allergenic and fully breathable, wool is ten times more absorbent than synthetic materials - which is critical and guarantees the mattress works in total harmony with your body by regulating the temperature in your bed.
HEMPURE
Growing on their Yorkshire farms, Harrison Spinks' hempure is entirely natural, absorbent and resistant to mildew. With excellent sustainable credentials, the hemp plant absorbs carbon dioxide and helps reverse the effects of climate change.
CASHMERE
Cashmere is one of the most expensive, exclusive and desirable luxury fillings in the world. This long, silky filament is eight times warmer than sheep's wool but significantly lighter. Sumptuously soft and luxurious, Vispring adds it to give their mattresses that distinctive Vispring feeling.
FLAX
Often used to make linen, flax is three times stronger than cotton. Light and absorbent, it is a breathable organic filling that helps to improve moisture management.
THE TURN-FREE COLLECTION
Ideal for those who have back problems or difficulty lifting, a turn-free mattress can be a good option. They offer all the support you would expect from a Harrison Spinks mattress without the need to turn it with the seasons.

The natural properties of our luxurious fillings allow us to create two different surfaces for every seasonal turn mattress. With Warm for Winter wool blends on one sleeping surface and Cool for Summer cotton blends on the other, Harrison Spinks mattresses ensure you are at exactly the right temperature all year round.

As well as the traditional core of Revolution pocket springs forming the supporting centre of the mattress, layers of miniature springs are in the in-built topper providing unrivalled comfort and support.
